After taking this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Explain the I/O slot numbering system

  • Identify the I/O module type and part number in each slot

  • Sketch and explain how the PBNO switches are connected to the digital input module

  • Sketch and explain how the slider potentiometer is connected to the analog input module

  • Start the PLCnext Engineer PLC programming software

  • Create a New Project and establish an Ethernet communication link between PC and PLC
