In part 1 of this lesson, we talked about the PII section of the performance data window found in the Online & Diagnostics area. We continue discussing the performance data section here briefly touching on the Process Image Output or the PIQ portion which we covered in great detail previously. We then talk about how much bit memories, timers, counters, local data, OBs or organization blocks, FCs, FBs, DBs, SFBs, and SFCs may be used within the project. These available use areas are determined again by PLC type. We are going to demonstrate some of the OB’s and SFC’s available for use. Open up this lesson and see what great features are provided with your PLC.
