In part 2 of the practical example for the Call Structure tool, we continue discussing upgrading the petrochemical plant. We’ll talk a little more about P&ID’s and I/O lists. We then begin the discussion about how the use of the Call Structure tool can assist in saving time and money by utilizing a similar PLC Programming section and helping to analyze that section with the tool. Once a section is analyzed and determined to be similar to what you’ll need to program, you can use that section, likely with some modifications, and quite possibly save a great deal of time and money.
