In some previous lessons, we have discussed the many tools used within the TIA Portal programming environment. In this lesson, we are going to discuss the Cross Reference tool again but using the previous programming environment of Step 7. Cross-reference is a very useful function that works to find areas within a program that use a certain object or DB address.
