Output instructions set data table values based on the input logic.
Input instructions make logical comparisons or monitor the states of data table entries. When the input logic is true, the output instructions execute.
If a rung only has an output instruction, it will execute each time the program executes without conditions.
To enter the operand which identifies the timer, we click on the “Timer” parameter where the question mark is, and enter the data table address of the timer we want to use.
Then we enter a description, and give the timer a symbol name.
We change the time base to “0.01”. Then we enter a preset value of 500.
